Our Story

Handcrafted with Heart.
Worn with Love.

Chaarmology handcrafted floral jewellery

Chaarmology was founded in a corner of my bedroom — surrounded by craft supplies, flowers, and a passion that just would not stay quiet.

My name is Nidhi, and I am the founder of Chaarmology — a brand I did not plan so much as grow, one handmade creation at a time. What you hold today in the form of jewellery, rakhis, and floral wearables is the sum of nearly a decade of love, learning, and trusting the process.

2016

Where It All Began

Chaarmology was born on Instagram in 2016. Before it was a brand, it was a feeling — a desire to make something beautiful with my hands and share it with the world. We started by creating handmade gifting products: 3D floral frames that looked like they belonged in a gallery, dream catchers that held a certain quiet magic, hampers curated with thought and care, and floral artwork that brought nature indoors.

Instagram was our first home, our first community, and to this day it remains our most honest connection with every person who has ever loved what we make.

2017–2018

Finding Our Niche

The deeper I went into the world of handmade art, the more I was drawn towards a very specific kind of beauty — flowers. I began learning how to craft 3D blooms from paper, foam, and clay, spending hours perfecting petals that felt almost alive. And then came the idea that changed everything: what if these flowers could be worn?

That question led me to floral jewellery — and somewhere in the late months of 2018, Chaarmology found its niche. A few of our most special friends trusted us to make the flower jewellery they would wear on their Haldi ceremonies. Watching those pieces come to life on someone else was one of the most moving moments of this journey. It told us: this is what we are meant to do.

We did not wait. We committed to this path and built something we believe was among the first in the country — a dedicated website for custom-made floral jewellery, designed to earn our clients’ trust and bring our growing community closer together.

2020

The Pandemic, and a New Purpose

When the world came to a standstill and weddings came to a halt, Chaarmology faced its most difficult chapter. It was in that stillness that I found a new direction — closer to home than I had expected.

My mother had been making Rakhis using sacred Vedic ingredients for years. She would handcraft them every year for her brother — a quiet, heartfelt ritual she had practised since long before I even noticed it. The slowdown of the pandemic brought this tradition to my attention and I was instantly inspired. I fell in love with the concept and knew we had to share it with the world.

We made them entirely by hand, using special ingredients rooted in our Vedic traditions. Every thread, every element was chosen with intention. The response was beyond anything we had imagined — thousands of families welcomed our Vedic Rakhis into their homes, and Chaarmology found a new identity. Today, we have a community that waits every year for our Rakhi launch, a tradition we hold with immense pride.

Through it all, one thing kept us going: ensuring that our karigars — the skilled hands behind every piece — could earn their livelihood even during the hardest days. Their craft is at the heart of ours.

Today

A Community, A Craft, A Calling

Chaarmology today is many things woven into one:

  • Handcrafted Custom Floral Jewellery — made to order for Haldi, mehendi, weddings, and celebrations that deserve something one-of-a-kind.
  • Vedic Rakhis — a labour of love launched every year, rooted in tradition and crafted with sacred ingredients from our Vedas.
  • Floral Wearables & Curated German Silver Jewellery — for those who seek pieces with soul.

We are proud to have crossed 100K hearts on Instagram — a milestone that humbles us every single day. That community was our beginning, and it will always be our foundation.

“Chaarmology was never about building a brand. It was about building something real — something you could hold, wear, and feel. Every piece that leaves our hands carries a piece of my heart. Thank you for being part of this journey, for trusting us with your most precious moments, and for wearing our creations on days that matter the most.

This is just the beginning.”
